Verona Marathon and parkruns
If you still have some doubts about taking part in a marathon (in fact many marathons are held around the world, some of which are much more famous than the Verona marathon), note that in a beautiful city like Verona a marathon can never be “just” a sporting event: the route Marathons, indeed, include some of the most scenic spots in the city, and walking in a setting like this cannot but improve your mood and consequently your performance. Additionally by the 8th edition the marathon organizers have (positively) exaggerated: the last meter of the marathon will be run in the arena. This world-famous monument, also for hosting great musical events and a very exciting opera season, has now turned into a major sporting event center. Try to imagine the entrance to the arena, after kilometers of effort and sweat: the marathon, that is, the fighters of the day, as if they were contemporary gladiators enjoying their winning entry into a very attractive setting, which could serve as an impetus to end the race in a way. best. It is also for this reason that the Verona marathon is expected to be one of the most appreciated of all Italian marathons which will take place throughout the year.
